More About Me

Amanda spent the earlier years of her career as a practicing attorney. Her experience ranges from corporate transactional law, to counseling small business clients, to contracting for the U.S. government. It was through these experiences that she found her passion for real estate. The transition to becoming a realtor with The Shanahan Group was an easy one for Amanda, given her transactional background, attention to detail, commitment to her clients, outgoing personality, and her love for all things real estate!

Amanda and her husband have lived in Winchester for over a decade and have two middle-school-aged boys. Service to the community is one of Amanda’s core values. For many years, she volunteered as a Board Member for the Woburn Council of Social Concern. She is a past Board Member, and Sailing Director, at the Winchester Boat Club. She has served as the President of the Ambrose Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization, and was previously an active volunteer at the Winchester Public School Preschool, as well as the Winchester Cooperative Nursery School.

As your trusted counselor, Amanda will help guide you through the process of selling or buying your home; whether that is your first home, your forever home, or any home in between!  Amanda recognizes that buying or selling a home is a significant and often emotional event.  She works tirelessly to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. Her transactional background, coupled with her community connections and candid communication skills, allow her to be a strong advocate for you.
